The SBJBC UK-Saudi Business Trade and Partnership Forum was held on the 7th of June in London, where global leaders from both industry and government gathered to network. Sector-specific workshops were conducted providing deep insights into key growth areas for UK-Saudi trade. Q&A and discussion panels showcased the expertise of the speakers from a vast number of sectors.
The Forum had the support of the City of London Corporation, Department for Business & Trade, and the Federation of Saudi Chambers. It was held in the impressive Egyptian Hall at the Lord Mayor’s official residence, Mansion House. This followed the success of SBJBC’s Renewable Energy and Sustainable Investment Forum in July 2021 and June 2022, which attracted over 400 delegates, including Saudi and UK Ministers.
The Forum reviewed the progress of Saudi Vision 2030 implementation since its launch in 2016 and explored opportunities for further UK/Saudi trade, investment, and expertise exchange. It discussed the scope for increased private sector engagement in the already strong cooperation between the two Kingdoms in financial & professional services, clean energy, education, healthcare, and creative industries following the signature go the UK/Saudi Strategic Partnership Council.
The Forum was attended by a large Saudi public and private delegation and included extensive networking opportunities.
