The Federation of Saudi Chambers (FSC) is holding an online briefing to introduce the International Business Concierge (IBC), its single-window digital gateway for international companies and business councils working with the Kingdom. The platform is intended to support companies exploring investment opportunities in Saudi Arabia, as well as those establishing a presence there, meeting compliance requirements and running day-to-day operations.
The development of the IBC was inspired by SBJBC’s Trade Barriers work, and the platform forms part of the Council’s continuing effort, alongside its Saudi partners, to make it easier for UK companies to do business in the Kingdom. Its launch is a practical result of that work, and the briefing gives members an opportunity to judge how well the platform responds to the difficulties UK companies encounter when entering and operating in the Saudi market.
The FSC has invited its business council partners in the United Kingdom to the session, and SBJBC members are welcome to attend. FSC representatives will set out the platform’s objectives and the support it offers to international businesses and business councils, before giving a live demonstration of its main features. The FSC has said it wants to hear from participants as it extends the platform’s use among the international business community, so the session closes with an open discussion in which attendees can raise questions and give feedback directly.
The briefing is likely to be most relevant to members considering entry into the Saudi market and to those already operating in the Kingdom who handle licensing, compliance or investment matters there.
