On 8 March, SBJBC UK and the Saudi UK Tech Hub supported by the UK’s Department for Science Innovation & Technology hosted a Clean Tech Venture Day in London. The event featured panel sessions on the latest project opportunities and pitches from innovative British and Saudi companies working to develop cleantech solutions to the latest environmental challenges.
Following morning panels on UK & Saudi projects & opportunities and a networking lunch, the afternoon sessions offered selected companies the opportunity to pitch their technologies to potential investors and access new sources of growth capital. It also provided an opportunity for UK and Saudi research institutions and innovation hubs to meet and form partnerships. Moving forward, The Venture days will launch an annual dialogue between the two Kingdoms on collaborative cleantech research and innovation with support from the Saudi UK Tech Hub and both governments.
