The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), the Saudi British Joint Business Council (SBJBC), and the UK Department for Business and Trade (DBT) are partnering at Cityscape Global to deliver a programme of activity strengthening collaboration between the UK and Saudi Arabia across the architecture and design sectors.
We are delighted to invite you to our live panel discussion, with leaders in the built environment from the UK and the Gulf meeting to discuss and share ideas.
Theme
From the ‘gigaprojects’ of Vision 2030 and infrastructure for global events to the wholesale transformation of cities and regions, the development of Saudi Arabia is characterised by the unprecedented size of plans and projects, and the dizzying speed of delivery. The combination presents challenges and opportunities for the built environment professions.
Our expert panel of leading practitioners will discuss how they are responding to these unique circumstances to define the right aims for design, embed learning in the process, and build the sustainable, human-centric places that reflect the country’s high ambitions.
