The Middle East Sports Investment Forum is the only event of its kind, bringing the key sports stakeholders from across the Middle East to London to share their vision for regional sports development.
The event will welcome the Ministries of Sport, government representatives, sports clubs, venues and sports business leaders to see how private and public sector can work together to achieve the region’s ambitious sports agenda.
The rise of sports in the Middle East has been growing rapidly, as countries in the region look to diversify their economies from Oil & Gas and provide a prosperous future for their populations. The Qatar World Cup in 2022 showed the scale and potential for the region in terms of becoming the world leading destination for international sports competitions and events.
Since then, the Middle East has continued to show its ambitions in the world of sports led largely by the Vision to 2030 initiative in Saudi Arabia that plans to change the landscape of the country’s economy by the end of the decade. Sports investment and infrastructure is one of the key pillars of this vision and the world has seen this play out through the Saudi Public Investment Fund’s investments in F1, The Saudi Pro League, LIV Golf, The Premier League, International Boxing and Tennis with more to come.
