SBJBC supported the Energy Exports Conference (EEC) 2023, which was hosted by the Energy Industries Council on 6 – 7 June at P & J Live in Abderdeen.
In it’s fifth year, EEC is built on the success of the 2022 in person event which was extremely well-received by industry leaders and the wider UK supply chain companies.
It’s featured a blend of high-level conference sessions, supply chain briefings and one-to-one meetings covering Global Opportunities, the Energy Exports Conference is the ideal platform for discussing major capital project opportunities and encouraging bilateral trade.
EEC2023 focused on tangible global project opportunities within the following energy sectors:
• Renewables coveringOnshore, Offshore and Floating Offshore Wind
• Hydrogen & Carbon Capture Blue Hydrogen, Green Hydrogen, CCUS & Direct Air Capture
• Nuclear New build, SMR, AMR, O&M, Waste Management & Decommissioning
• Energy Opportunities, Oil and Gas
The event was actively supported by the UK Government’s Department for International Trade, UK Export Finance and several prominent industry associations and organisations, all of whom provide representation for the event’s Steering Committee. On the 6th June, representatives of Saudi Aramco briefed those who attended on opportunities for companies with them.
