Aljazira Bank

Aljazira Bank was founded in 1975 and began operations in 1976 in Jeddah. Over the years, the Bank has evolved into one of Saudi Arabia’s leading Shari’ah-compliant financial institutions, successfully transforming its operations through strategic restructuring, modernization, and a strong commitment to sustainable growth.

A key milestone in the Bank’s journey was its decision to become fully Shari’ah-compliant, establishing a dedicated Shari’ah Advisory Board and transitioning all banking operations to align with Islamic principles. This strategic move positioned Aljazira Bank as a pioneer in Islamic banking within the Kingdom.

Throughout its growth journey, Aljazira Bank strengthened its presence across retail, corporate, SME, investment, and wealth management sectors while investing in human capital and operational excellence. Through Aljazira Capital, the Bank further enhanced its position as a leading provider of investment and asset management services.

In December 2025, Aljazira Bank unveiled its new brand identity, reinforcing its affluent positioning and commitment to wealth creation, financial wellbeing, and premium customer experiences. The rebranding reflects the Bank’s evolution into a modern, digitally empowered institution while remaining rooted in its values and Shari’ah principles.

Today, Aljazira Bank is a customer-centric financial institution focused on wealth management, financial wellbeing, innovation, and sustainable growth. Guided by a clear purpose and a forward-looking vision, the Bank continues to empower individuals, businesses, and communities across Saudi Arabia while shaping the future of Islamic banking.Shi
