Sheikh Nasser is chairman and founder of Samama Holding Group and currently the co-chairman of the Saudi British Joint Business Council. Sheikh Nasser founded Samama Holding Group in 1980. Samama is a diversified conglomerate with more than 10,000 employees. Samama specialises in the operation and management of hospitals and the maintenance of large infrastructures e.g. the Riyadh Diplomatic Quarter.
Samama holds contracts for city cleaning and waste management and has completed many successful construction projects in both the public and private sectors. Whilst building Samama Holding Group, Sheikh Nasser has been instrumental in establishing a number of other successful businesses in partnership with others and alone. Amongst these are The Parkside Hospital, Wimbledon (1983), Almarai Dairy & Food Co. (public), Al Tayyar Travel & Tourism (public), Kingdom Hotels Co. (public, London and Dubai), Al Jazira Publishing & Printing Co. (KSA), The Linc Corp (USA), National HVAC (USA), General Arabian Medical Co. (GAMA), Jesco (Seamless Pipes) KSA. Yamama Cement Co. (Public), Suhube Security Co. (KSA), Tech Invest Co. (KSA), Ostool Naqil Transportation Co. (KSA), Inaya Medical College (KSA), National Cancer and Blood Centre (KSA), Capivest Bank (Bahrain) and Qatar First Bank (Qatar).
Sheikh Nasser was also instrumental in the establishment of 15 philanthropic organisations in Saudi Arabia. These organisations are caring for orphans, families of prisoners, research and other activities. He also is a trustee at Religions for Peace, a UN affiliate in New York. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from USA (1972). He has recently been appointed Chairman of the Saudi Arabian Paralympic Association.
