The Saudi British Joint Business Council will be hosting a roundtable with the Saudi General Commission for Audio-Visual Media (GCAM) on 13 March, in collaboration with the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA) and SBJBC member Touchline.
GCAM is a new agency responsible for regulating and developing audio-visual media transmission and content in Saudi Arabia, including issue of necessary licenses. They are interested in meeting relevant UK audio and visual media counterparts, and connecting with potential investors and enablers who can help attract Media FDI and transfer knowledge to Saudi Arabia in the fast developing entertainment field.
The roundtable will be an opportunity for interested UK businesses to meet with the GCAM and SAGIA delegation led by Mr Bader Al-Zharani, CEO of GCAM, who was previously responsible for the establishment of the cinema sector in the Kingdom. The Delegation are specifically interested in “creation, aggregation, content distribution and hardware solutions for video, internet, gaming and audio”.
To register your interest in this event, please contact Oliver (firstname.lastname@example.org | tel: 0207 824 1933). The roundtable is open to SBJBC members and non-members.
